Walking On Air

I ran, as far as I could, as fast as my legs could carry me, as long as my heart keeps pumping blood through my veins, or I just wish I did. Anxiety over excitement, exhilaration over anguish!! Never know what to expect or feel is certainly the best choice. Either way, it only comes down to who you are, where you are, who's next to you, what's in store for you. We all have needs, so do I. Well I know I need more than what I want. And so the story begins..

My phone rang early in the morning, I'm not sure if my eyes was bright enough to see the time but I answered anyhow. It's a warm feeling to hear a familiar voice on the other side of the phone even when I only understood half of what was spoken. I urged myself to get up, knowing that the day ahead will be a blissful one indeed, which I wont miss it for the world.

It really wasn't a typical morning for me, as everything seemed not right. Hours later I got back in the mood, by another phone call. I took a detour, got offtrack to another destination in the opposite direction and I found myself navigating my way closer to the voice I heard moments ago. The route became shorter each time my wheels revolved on the tarmac, bringing me closer and closer to the voice. When everything has fallen into places, I have already matched a face to the voice. A simple "Hello", and Coffee and Tea were served. Newspaper and magazine were available too, but being a non-reader I decided to take another detour. Feast our hunger!! An hour passed by and soon I'll be on my way to the best ever getaway anyone could every dream of.

Journey to happiness will take you through a series of obstacles be it easy or devilish, it's part and parcel of life. So I kept my head up high and kept on moving. It was smooth sailing all the way, no bumps, no cracks, just cruising. Slightly less than a full hour later, I arrived! I survived an obstacle!! A short walk downhill and back up, standing in front was a greeter. With a warm pomp smile that anyone could see from a distance, a diminished voice spoke. A few more minutes of bearing heat, I were covered in sweat. I then rushed to Shangri-La which was at the very end of the affair.

From this point.. I'll keep it to myself. Something that I can cherish for the rest of my life, and at any time in life, I would smile just thinking about it.
