it was a pleasant surprise to see a familiar face at the corner of the bar where i work. nothing beats the gift i got tonight. thanks for being present.
it's 5am now. my friends are out partying, having a wonderful time, and i'm at home talking to lucyfer the cat. he won't stop bugging me asking to be stroked n fed. i need a rest. i'll enjoy the remaining of the new year in about a few hours from now. still haven't got a clue how to do that, but i'm pretty positive it'll be a great 1.
hmm.. a swim perhaps?

i'm almost worn out
I can barely open my eyes. It hurts when i blink. I need rest after two exhausting weeks. My feet is starting to crack, i have blisters on my toes, my ankle cudnt keep up with my busy lifestyle, however my mind is still strong.. i know i can pull through this without needing to be rested-out for a certain period of time. i just cant afford that right now. But i'm tired. really tired. just plain simply tired.

My life is not simple
It's been a hard days night,
and I've been working like a dog..
True enough, those were the words by a poet in their prime.
Was it planned out to be that way for us, the next generation to suffer? Was it by purpose that they created those lines so that humans at the later stages of modern civilization would be taunted by it? It couldn't just be coincidental. They knew just what their message meant.
I'm not complaining, but merely adapting to the situation, and by all means, with the last drop of blood left running in my veins, I shall prevail! I shall triumph!
It's going to take up a lot of time and energy as well as sacrifices along the way, and I've never been more prepared to face it all. I need a change, a BIG one!

Whenever Wherever
My time is up. It's a whole different ball game now. Wondering how things can be better in every way seems such a waste of time, might as well make the attempt to better things for good. My intention is purely for my ownself, selfish may be the word, or it might just be self-awareness. We plan, we execeute, but we will never know the outcome. I'm going to give it my everything, with every last breathe i have, i'll make sure i'll get to the top or i'll die trying. What matters in the end is RESULT. Regardless how good or the opposite it maybe, that shouldn't be the reason for me to stop trying. Speaking of trying, in my dictionary, there's only DO and DON'T, the word TRY never really existed. So, I'm going to DO what i've started and i'll finish it. whatever happens in between will be moments to learn from, be it bad or good, sweet or sorrow. I am my own man.

no it isn't
i've never felt this empty for quite sometime.. everything seems so much more quiet than it used to be, d night seems to be colder than usual, darker than always, and for the longest time, i actually ran out of idea on what to write.. am i not who i am anymore? am i evolving? if so, into what? is it a good thing or a bad thing? i get shattered even by the simplest gesture, or words, or situations. there's sure a heck load of unpleasant feelings mashed up right now.. i think i shud just sleep it off..

Rain
As I sit by my desk
looking out the window
clouds becoming darker
temperature's falling rapidly
i can see and feel the rain
and hear the thunder
it roars across the horizon
marks the superiority of the Almighty.
As the wind whistles loudly
like a kettle in d kitchen
through the ajar glass door i see
carrying along little drops of water
dampening the window curtain
as the rain pours down harder
I'm cold.
Trees are swaying
leaves are happy
earth gets showered
that's how its supposed to be.
I'm smiling.

The Awakening
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
Too bad I was not even there the night you left, even though I had this urge to see you sooner. Something kept me back and I wish that I didn't attend to it. All because A Life Is Priceless. We had so many "unfinished business", but you can be rest assured that I will still continue to do it even without you around, hoping that your spirits will be with me throughout that journey.
I've never missed a friend more than I missed you. It breaks me apart reminiscing those silly things we used to do, because I know that I wont ever again get to do that with anyone else. We bonded after so long of being 'so near yet so far'. I wish I had used the time just to hang and to get to know you more. 3 years was what that is left for us to bond, take 1 year out, the period which my life was HALTED, ended up with only 2 solid years of friendship or brotherhood if I may put it that way.
Your passing did make me realize something, which I think I've been neglecting all this while, but worry no more because I'm back on track. I'm keeping all friends close, my loved ones even closer. For I will never miss another second not connecting with them, when in the end, they are all I have left.
Rest In Peace my dear G.

Living Dead
Halloween..
Scary, funny, adulterous, outrageous, infiltrated, hideous, mischievous, absolute mockery.
I only can think of these descriptions when it comes to Halloween. This is the only celebration (I think) that contradicts with everyone's idea or perception of the day itself. Some think it's the best day to worship spirits, some have fun being one, others are just dumb enough to be another and the rest doesn't really care. I happen to fall under the "doesn't really care group". I never went for trick or treat, tho once upon a time when i was bartending i had to put on a costume which i'm sure didn't carry the meaning of Halloween. I never carved a pumpkin, i don't see how a pumpkin can be spooky in the 1st place. If someone went to a party all dressed up as Marilyn Monroe (when MM was still alive) who would MM dress up as? or Elvis, or Mahatma Gandhi? We all do know Barrack Obama has a twin, would Obama himself approve that guy to be him, get wasted at a party, snorting coke with his image, fooling around with minors who thinks that guy had a great "costume"? well i dont think so.
Or i just envy the people who do have fun on this day?
anyways, Happy Halloween!! or Crappy Halloween!

saw this HALO moon on HALOween night :) how spooky is that??

Walking On Air
I ran, as far as I could, as fast as my legs could carry me, as long as my heart keeps pumping blood through my veins, or I just wish I did. Anxiety over excitement, exhilaration over anguish!! Never know what to expect or feel is certainly the best choice. Either way, it only comes down to who you are, where you are, who's next to you, what's in store for you. We all have needs, so do I. Well I know I need more than what I want. And so the story begins..
My phone rang early in the morning, I'm not sure if my eyes was bright enough to see the time but I answered anyhow. It's a warm feeling to hear a familiar voice on the other side of the phone even when I only understood half of what was spoken. I urged myself to get up, knowing that the day ahead will be a blissful one indeed, which I wont miss it for the world.
It really wasn't a typical morning for me, as everything seemed not right. Hours later I got back in the mood, by another phone call. I took a detour, got offtrack to another destination in the opposite direction and I found myself navigating my way closer to the voice I heard moments ago. The route became shorter each time my wheels revolved on the tarmac, bringing me closer and closer to the voice. When everything has fallen into places, I have already matched a face to the voice. A simple "Hello", and Coffee and Tea were served. Newspaper and magazine were available too, but being a non-reader I decided to take another detour. Feast our hunger!! An hour passed by and soon I'll be on my way to the best ever getaway anyone could every dream of.
Journey to happiness will take you through a series of obstacles be it easy or devilish, it's part and parcel of life. So I kept my head up high and kept on moving. It was smooth sailing all the way, no bumps, no cracks, just cruising. Slightly less than a full hour later, I arrived! I survived an obstacle!! A short walk downhill and back up, standing in front was a greeter. With a warm pomp smile that anyone could see from a distance, a diminished voice spoke. A few more minutes of bearing heat, I were covered in sweat. I then rushed to Shangri-La which was at the very end of the affair.
From this point.. I'll keep it to myself. Something that I can cherish for the rest of my life, and at any time in life, I would smile just thinking about it.
